Digital Front Door¶
Use the Digital Front Door dashboard to see how strong a practice or PCN's digital access offer is across the main online channels, expressed as a single benchmarked score.
Digital Front Door Dashboard¶
What It Shows¶
- a composite Digital Front Door score from 0 to 100;
- per-channel contributions from NHS App active uptake, online consultations, and online or video appointments;
- national percentiles for each scored channel;
- telephony context where available;
- insights highlighting the strongest and weakest channels;
- a State of the Nation view summarising the England-wide picture.
How To Use It¶
- Select a practice or PCN.
- Review the composite score and the per-channel percentiles.
- Identify the weakest channel to target improvement.
- Re-check after changes to digital access workflows.
Interpretation Notes¶
The score is the mean national percentile across the scored channels, so it is relative to other organisations rather than an absolute target. A channel with no data is excluded from the score rather than counted as zero, which means the score reflects only the channels with available data.
